Downloaded the above from the web, last night and couldn't load it, so gave that up as a bad job and went to PC world & bought a cd to load it, well what do you know the same thing, it loads so far up to a stage that says MSXML3 and then stops.

I have spent 4.5 hours deleting various programs trying to enable it to load and still no luck, is there anyone that can help me?.........Please....
Please....Please.

Thanks in anticipation

Surely it doesn't say JUST MSXML3. What does the full error say. What version of winblows are you running etc etc.
Might be worth contacting norton about it, seeing as tehy support their own products.

I know this is no help whatsoever but contacting Norton (Symantec) is like nailing jelly to the ceiling, theoretically possible but a big struggle and ultimately pointless.

We need more details.

OS?
Service packs?
What does the error say?
On startup?
On installation?
etc

Thanks for the replies, the installation starts and then gets so far, I am opearting Windows XP and whether I have the XP service pack installed or not it still does not load past this stage. The Stage in question is stated as being loading Media Library, loading MSXML3, then it comes up with an error, no code, so Symantec cannot help me and then it says do you want to retry, you click yes a few times & realise it is not going to do anything so click on end and then it takes you out of the installation.

I have given up at the moment and am relying on Service pack 2, which by all accounts works as well as a lot of virus software.

Have a look in event viewer, you might find something to point to the problem in there.
