Transferring pictures from a mobile memory card

How do I get my pictures from a Nokia 6230 memory card onto my laptop?

I've got available to me a HP PSC 2510 all in one scanner etc, which has memory card slots in the front. So I plug my memory card in, it reads the card but finds no files??

Any suggestions, what it might be?

I've heard it may have something to do with having video stored on the card as well?

I don't wish the ask the obvious but did you transfer the pictures from the phone memory onto the card?

In the long run I'd get a USB cable for the phone or Bluetooth for the laptop. 6230's don't like the back removed too much.

Yes that's right.....I'm a frickin idiot. Thanks for the advice i've transferred the pictures to memory card. I really must read up on my toys and how they all work.

On a similar note, does anyone know if it's possible to navigate the memory card via Bluetooth? IE Transfer a file from my laptop directly to the card via Bluetooth?

Doing a file transfer, I only seem to be able to see the Gallery.

This is a work laptop so I don't have the Nokia suite to hand (not that I'm sure there is anything in there...)

Yup, do it all the time with Nokia suite 6.41
