Cannot Open Links

Running bent XP and SP2.

Since then when I click on Google links (the ones down the right of the page) or ebay hot links (the ones in the center that change every time you refersh the page), I get page cannot be displayed.

Cleared caches/temp files, moved the settings to low, firewall/router set up properly by Roop but still cannot click and open the links.

Ran AVG and Adaware several times, its been like this for 2 months and its getting annoying.

I have to copy the links manually and its bugging me.

Any ideas..?

have you got popup blocker enabled?

I had a similar problem a while back which i think was to do with communication between router and DNS.

Solved it by putting the DNS address directly into the TCP/IP settings instead of letting DHCP handle it.

Might be worth a try...
