Fax by Internet?????

[FrenchTVR]

Is there any way that someone can send me a fax via the internet? I currently have no fax facilities at my office, but do have a broadband connection via a wireless network.

Thanks.

You want something called efax which is a virtual fax machine.

The user at the other end faxes to a 0870 or such number and the fax is converted to a tiff or jpeg and e-mailed to you.

I have one with Demon, check your broadband supplier!

Thanks guys, I like the look of the Efax one. Will sign up for their 14 day trial and see how it works.

Cheers.

If that doesn't work, I've used MightyFax in the past.

Another option if you have a spare phone line is to slap a modem into your PC and install a bit of fax software.

Either that or buy a printer that can accept incoming faxes.

Or just buy a cheap fax machine!
