some emails are not getting to me

Following on from Jonnie5's email problem I am not receiving the occasions email from specific clients.
One can email me on my private address but not on the business one, although they are collected on the same pc.
The only though I had was that it looked as though I picked up a virus in Dec. that sent my HD spinning for hours, after a little will I got concerned and disconnected it from the internet as it looked like it was doing a mass mail out.
If this is true, could I be on the band list somewhere? and how do I get removed?

If you are in a spam list then you would be prevented from sending rather than receiving. Does your client get an error back?
