I have a laptop and PC.

The password for the PC to get into Gmail does not work on the laptop, so i change it. When i get home and try to log in on the PC the laptop password does not work on the PC ( the gmail log in page does tell me i changed the pw x hrs ago) so i change it. This new one (PC) doesnt work on the laptop.
Where might i be going wrong? or is this is normal for the PC and laptop to have different passwords for the same log in page?
Thanks

In Chrome, assuming that's what you're using, go to Settings-advanced settings-passwords-manage passwords, find the entry for Gmail and delete it. Log into your Gmail with the correct password, Chrome will offer to save the password again.
Do this on the laptop and PC.

Type the password into notepad on both machines and make sure they match. My guess is that num lock is on or off on one machine and not the other, therefore one of them is or isn't putting a number in when you think it is.

Seeing both passwords in plain text will show if this is the case.
