You could probably find out by simply removing your viewing card (although you may need to get a free card from bbc, I can't recall)

I completely agree. Bedtime hour then TV off and upstairs. It's a national routine !!

I have just cancelled Sky because we were paying nearly £20.00 per month for mainly absolute crap with just the occasionally interesting programme inbetween. It has to be said, that what remains free after cancelling the contract is basically the free BBC and ITV channels together with absolute dross for the time rich underclass to stretch their collective brain cell with.

If you have kids, then great - CBeebies may keep them occupied - but don't get your hopes up about the remainder - But at least it is free.

I hate Sky with a passion. Always easier to enrol with them than it is to cancel the contract. You have to give 30 days notice. To add insult to injury, we then had to endure aload of cold calls from Bangladesh or somewhere else in Asia wanting 10 minutes of my precious time wanting to know why I had cancelled. I told them because its crap...and put the phone down.
