Is it possible to set your browser to automatically refresh web pages live or in real time as it were , or at least at preset periods like every 2 mins. or so ?

Not really, well not easily.

However if you put a ? at the end of the URL it tricks the gateway into getting you a fresh rather than cached version of any given web page.

You can throw command keys at a specific window using a BAT file but its not recommended as its a bit of an ugly solution.

There may be an extension for Firefox that does something similar though.

You can download an extension to Firefox called "Reload Every" which does exactly this. Just right-click and select Reload Every... 10s 30s 1m 2m etc.

Perfect for sniping auctions!
