Galaxy S7 Edge browser problem

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas regarding the following.

I have an s7 edge that is working OK EXCEPT that screen rotation doesn't work in the browser.

It works in all other relevant apps, but the browser is stuck in portrait

I have switched off and on a couple of times and I am trying to avoid a factory reset - any bright ideas?

if its still within warranty take it to a samsung shop or a carphone warehouse repair centre, ive got an o2 network s6 and started losing pixels and it spread like fire through the screen, the guy in the samsung shop recognized the issue and although its going to take 3 days ... screen replacement .. they were very helpful . also not having a moby for a few days is a very liberating experience too.

The screen rotation was already switched on - it was working in many other apps, just not the web browser.

I have just done a factory reset and it now works.
