How do I change folder information? (MP3's)

I've got stacks of music that I am trying to put into order; artist, album, genre etc. The end result being that I can sort files easily when they are dumped onto my MP3 player. Is there an easy way to change the properties of a whole folder (album) rather than having to do it one song at a time? Please say yes, otherwise it is going to take me until next year to get everything how I want it.

Are you using Windows Media Player?

Yes I have Windows Media Player.

In that case, in Library view, display the album you want to edit, select all the tracks, (Ctrl+A), and with all the tracks selected right click in the field you want to change on one of the tracks and select Edit. Type the change in then press enter and the change will apply to all the selected tracks.
