I'm with these people www.wwwserver.co.uk 25 quid for 2 years + a tenner for the domain name, 250mb of space.

There's a restriction of download bandwidth so make sure it's enough. They also allow asp, Access, email addresses and lots of other bits so maybe a bit more than you need.

What software are you using?

If FrontPage, its just like Word so shouldn't be tooo hard.

Dreamweaver is a bit harder at first, but you'll soon get the gist of it.

Trial and error is the best way to learn. Other than that, google for tutorials, of which there are dozens.

if you had become a client of mine i'd have written you out a lengthy email of how to make a site...just teasing Jamie

Do'nt know much about all the languages used etc but Freeservers, who i'm using are pretty much like a colouring-in book and stick photo's here type thing.
The links to take a reader elsewhere, are a bit tricky looking, but trying to make it all look reasonablynothomemade, requires a bit of concentration.
Re-sizing pics in paint is laborious, as to large an image occupies half a page. with me doing it.
thanks for offered help all of you, when i've made a hash of it, you'll have mail.

Didn't Jamie install 'Gallery' for you? It's a great piece of kit, piece of cake to use and makes the gallery easy to navigate.

Haven't used the piece of software you mentioned so can't help.

It all depends on how 'friendly' your losing ISP is.

It can happen within 10 mins, it can take a week plus.

You've got yourself listed as the Admin contact, which is always the hardest part to get past, so you're good there.

I'll have my support guys raise a support ticket for you re: an issue I have spotted.
