Seen this running on a mates Mac and it is really cool; has anyone seen something similar for Windows?

I've got the Weather Channels Active Desktop (posted on here a while back) does the same thing. I've not installed it yet, but there were screenshots on a thread in PH.

I think this one may not be the one after I found the website again, but I have seen someone's screenshot on here showing a customisable weather map updated in realtime.

Used to have that on my Linux desktop - as said I guess id would need to be active desktop on windows

I've got that desktop. It's called Weather Watcher

I don't think it needs active desktop, it's just an app that puts the satellite image over the top of your existing wallpaper.

Here's the thread.
