Gmail - more than a gig now

My gmail account is growing... constantly... nearly up to 1200mb now. For a free and easy to use account, thats pretty good

It's a great second account to have. A different way of sorting the emails though, as it uses a variation on Google's search software.

I still can't understand how you could possibly fill over a gig with emails. My outlook file from the last five years is just nudging 300mb.

I've already filled nearly 200mb just in a month or so. I send out quite a few 3mb photos that I've taken and having the huge storage space allows me to leave them in my sent folder.

They've upped the limit to 2Gb.
