Hi

A bit vague this one, but a friend of mine told me he had visited a website where companies could advertise for contractors on forums for free, but he can't remember then name. Does anyone have any ideas?

Cheers.

roadie.

I know the one you mean, it was a case of you ask about and someone like me (working outside a company) could approach you.

Buggered if I can remember the name of the place however. Sorry.

Damn, this place needs to get a more memorable name/URL!

The Professional Contractors Group (www.pcg.org.uk) have facility for this, but I don't know whether it is publically available or a member-only service.

Cheers, that's the kind of thing I'm looking for, although the original site was apparently forum-based.

The site does look quite small - do you know how many people use it?

There's Freelancers.net for mainly web based stuff, which could be worth a quick shufty.
