Thanks, hmm, should I get another dot?

Stocking up on a few things. So far in the basket are:

Tefal Actifry
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01BHW1KIK/

Brother Laser Printer
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00CN5KGQS/

Fancy getting a coffee machine and seen a few on offer. Any aficionados got a recommendation amongst those (easy to use and clean)?

Top man thankyou, ordered an Echo. Been dithering for ages because of the price, at £79.99 it's really good value.

Don't get too carried away.

There was an analysis of last year's Prime event and only a tiny 1% of ~8k deals were found to be bargains.

Use Camelcamelcamel and Google Shopping to check historical and current prices for comparison.

Has it not already started? It popped up for me at 6pm, and I've already bought an OBD scanner, endoscope and a decent quality set of wire strippers....

I bought a Dot as well. I got given an American echo when it was first launched and while good, a bit useless in the UK. Now that Alexa is fully UK integrated along with systems like Tado the Dot seems like great value at only £34.

Hadn't realised that prices normally fluctuate so much. It was cheaper for a day or two last November (another promotion?).

Doesn't seem to have the latest Dot price on there yet though.

So where do Amazon get their RRP from then, as it seems they haven't had it at that price in the last 3 years?

I remember last years Prime sale was a let down. All it seems to be is the echo, dot, firestick, kindle that have any real discount.

I love having amazon prime but no way would i want one of them sneaky little bd echo's in my house.

Anyone with a PS4/PS3 should really look at the 15 month PS+ subscription. The price is normally £55 but on prime deals it's £30. It's a bargain considering that the normal price for only 12 months normally costs £40. the deal stacks (so you can buy multiple and extend your PS+ for years).

I don't have prime so had a friend buy it for me.

Alright deal on the PS4 Pro: http://amzn.to/2tHtNlu
Same price as one without any games on Argos.

Was considering then remembered the reason I didn't buy a PS4 last year - it doesn't do UHD Blu-ray.
