Word tables help

I've written a load of stuff in word using various tables but I don't want the lines of the tables to be visible in the final version. I can do this so that they don't appear in the print out but they still appear on screen. Any ideas on how to make them disappear?

Format: "Borders and Shading" ..also in Word 2003 you have Table: "hide gridlines/show gridlines"
