Last Christmas I purchased an iPad Pro for my son. Unwrapped Christmas Day and it didn’t work.

Well fek me this year I have purchased an Apple X and guess what. It dosent bloody work !!
No I have to head to blue water to get a replacement.

Going to call them tomorrow to see if I can return it for a refund (purchase online direct from Apple)and pop into stormfront Canterbury and buy a new one tomorrow.

Sadly it’s been on charge for most of the day.
I’ve tried pressing the volume up and down, then holding the side bar. Nothing is working. Even tried plugging it in to the Mac

I have loads of Apple stuff and never had a problem with any of it, poor lad has had two dead ones in a row.

Very frustrating but it sounds like the op has tried everything. I’ve never heard of such a problem with Apple products.

Don’t go to bluewater, I’m pretty sure the stores closed for refurbishment.

DoA happen, I've had them from virtually every tech brand you can name.
Bad luck you've had them twice from the same manufacturer, that's not what matters, just how well and how fast they resolve it.

if i was paying over a grand i wouldn't find it acceptable considering the mark up Apple make, I mean QA should have checked it. OP do yourself a favor break away from the Cult of Apple and get yourself a cheaper better phone.

That won’t be an issue. There’s plenty on here saying Apple products are poo but their just wrong.

Apple will exchange the iPhone, no problem.

Bad luck. I love my 7 Plus and can’t imagine having anything other than an iPhone.
