I have seen a few people with some good specs here.

So I have decided to start a thread asking people to 'show off' their specs.

I'll go first, my machine I built it's pretty intense. 64GB DDR4, Intel i7 6950X CPU, Samsung Evo 850 2TB SSD, and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080

Well they knock mine into a cocked hat, just a tad.

i5-2500k (4.6Ghz) with a Thermaltake Frio cooler
Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3P motherboard
8GB (2x 4GB) Crucial DDR3
AMD R9 290X 4GB (an upgrade from the original one I installed)
Crucial MX500 1TB SATA3 SSD (age and speed of the old HDD made me do it)

It'll do for now. Only 1x 1080p monitor which isn't great for workspace usage and probably my next sensible upgrade would be another one...

Mine's black and it glows red at the top and blue at the sides. Sometimes it buzzes and hums.

I wish mine buzzed and hummed. Occasionally it whirrs loudly like a hair-drier though.

Proud of building my new PC in December as I hadn't done it in years.

Aim was decent spec and fitting into an IKEA bookcase.

Ryzen 5 1600x + cooler master lite 120 AiO.
Asus Tuf micro ATX
8GB RAM (damn you cryptominers!)
RX580 GPU (twice damn you cryptominers!!)
550W modular PSU
Bitfenix case with feet removed gives about 3mm clearance top and bottom. Airflow isn't ideal but it seems to be chugging along happily/quietly with everything I've played so far; Destiny 2, Far Cry 3, Elite Dangerous.

Crypto's probably the main thing keeping me away from upgrade-itis. It feels so wrong to spend £600+ on a graphics card with an MSRP of £350.
