TV tuner

Ok, so I bought a Compro Videomate USB2000 Digital TV tuner off ebay (probably my first mistake!).

Everything installed OK but I cannot get it to receive any channels. I know I can get freeview as my mate is runing a PCI card off the same ariel (we do have an amplifier installed). It says I have a signal strength of 100% but still says its weak which I dont understand.

This is driving me bloody insane! Spent 2 Hours installing a decent ariel the other day!

Would recommend you look for updated drivers for it. If your using the same TV arial and it still doesn't work, one would imagine it's fooked. I have one and it says my reception signal is 'Average' but through the mail mast I get an excellent picture.

Yeah, got the latest drivers etc. Its all packed up ready to go back to the bloke or on ebay as I just cant be arsed with it any more.

Is it configured for UK frquencies? (assuming your in the uk)

Enter your postcode and it tells you the channels you can expect to receive. Freeview only says yes if you can receive all channels.
