"show desktop" icon

have got new laptop running XP pro, service pack 2 .. in previous windows versions there's been a handy "show desktop" icon but i can't find it in XP .. any tips?

right click on taskbar
isent' it alongside Task manager
Lock taskbar
properties ?

Is there not an option to "show desktop" when you right click on the task bar

Right click Task bar > Toolbars > Quick Launch should be on there.

edit:: ignore this tehn

make a text file in notepad and put the following in :

showdesktop.scf said:

[Shell] Command=2 IconFile=explorer.exe,3 [Taskbar] Command=ToggleDesktop

call it ShowDesktop.scf and save it to C:/Documents and Settings/YOUR USERNAME/Application Data/Microsoft/Internet Explorer/Quick Launch/
