After one of my 37GB Raptor hard drives died (taking half my PC with it, was set in RAID0 with an identical drive!), we sent it back to WD under warranty. Yesterday, I had a new one come through the post, and its a 74GB version, instead of 37GB!!
Trouble is, I would now need anoth 74GB drive to put back into RAID0
(Hope the other 37GB drive breaks soon so I can get another replacement!!!

Bit risky but worth a try. Give them a call and tell them they have sent you the wrong drive. Explain that you need an identical drive for your configuration.

Keep your fingers crossed. They may just send you another 36gb drive !

Return your old 37Gb one (suitably formatted) and tell them they should have sent a 74Gb

I don't think its a problem, usually you can still use the drive in the array, just half of it will be wasted. The array controller is just telling the drive what data to read and write, not physically where to put it. Check your raid docs.
