Set PC's to DHCP and they should be off
Check they can ping each other and the router. It could well be a firewall thing. You can safely turn them off while you are behind the firewall to allow you to figure out where the prob is.
Also check your proxy settings are empty on Firefox/IE.

Who is the ISP?. If its BT drop me a email and I will send you the settings. I have a linksys ADSL Router as well. Even if it is not BT the settings will probably be very similar.
Im with Pipex . Ive got a bit that says about advanced settings if using a router with primary and secondry DNS numbers
Also a number for VPI and VCI
Framing
Mode
Protocol
On ip address it just says supplied by dhcp server
and host is N/A
So im guessing ive got the info i need , its just where it needs to go on what ..... now where's the pimms

Focus is good mate, apart from some
nicking the badge
I've managed to hook everything up but pipex doesn't want to let my router connect. Really bloody annoying, £120 on networking equipment which isn't doing what it is supposed to do.
If the Cold Chisel doesn't work, Size 12's are pretty effective.

Try this... where you put the username just put
startup_user@startup_domain
Exactly as entered with no password
If it connects, there's a problem with your account details. It's not unheard of by a long shot. It's entered in the basic setup IIRC.
If that works, at least you know it's all plugged together correctly. If not, use the big hammer to "seat" the cables

The router is a firewall.....
If you want to test your vulnerabilities, go to www.grc.com and find shields up. Let is scan your PC (It's perfectly safe) and it'll tell you whether or not you're protected.
You should only need the firewall on when you are on an insecure or unknown network. Behind the firewall, it's superflous.
