Numpty alert...

Hi there, I've got a reasonable number (c.250) of emails to send out, it's a standard letter butI need to change a line in each one to a custom value.

At the moment I'm using MS Outlook, and pasting in a Wrord created letter, and typing the subject line in myself.

Is there a better way?

thanks

Chris

Mailmerge. Combine an Excel spreadsheet with named columns, and fill in a template file with each row from the spreadsheet.

Word->Tools->Mailmerge.

I'll try it. Thanks, thought there had to be a better way...

In outlook options set word to be your default email editor.

Thanks Agent, done that.

It's not the cutting and pasting that's the problem, it's retyping the ruddy subject line each time...
