Yep, they're awesome, but may I take the opportunity to point you in the direction of a rather outstanding extension if, like me, you hate having to give your email address to sites just to register briefly, hence increasing the risk of spam:
Get Jetable Email

"Get a time-limited mail alias to avoid spam, via context menu."

I use my own email domain, so i can just pluck an address out of thin air and use that. By default everything gets forwarded to my main email address, but if it starts getting spam i can just change it to forward to deadend@ address.
Yep, I have my own domain too, but the Jetable email is undoubtedly more convenient, particularly now it's a Firefox extension so you can just right-click in a field and fill it with a disposable email address that doesn't reference your domain and stops working after a specified time period. Give it a try, it's good I promise!

Or just use mailinator....

Yep, that's quite cool. There are a lot of disposable email address services, the difference I'm point out is that now you have a Firefox plug-in which makes it extremely convenient.

Totally reliant on genstures in Firefox now.
So much so that I find myself using them in oher applications (even ones I've written myself!) and sitting looking at the screen wondering why nothing's happening...
Excellent technology; so frustrating its not universal!
Yup, I've lost track the amount of times I've tried to go 'Back' in Windows by using the mouse gesture...

Sounds good. I'll give firefox another go again in a bit, but last time it would't import my opera setting properly/at all and was really slow. Although opera is taking an age to load these days for no apparent reason.
