Google play services stopping me making phone calls?

Keep getting an error message "Phone is having trouble with Google Play Services..."

Doesn't allow me to make a phone call.

I don't want this app and didn't install it. It wont let me uninstall it either. It has no permissions other than phone at the moment. Phone is Nokia 6

Mate that "app" is an integral part of the Android Operating System.
Dont mess with it.
You will need it installed as default and let it update if it wants to. Dont mess with its permissions either.
If you dont know what you are doing dont mess with that kind of stuff.

Go into settings / apps / Google Play Services and clear the cache. If that doesn't work try clearing data. You'll need to log in to Google again but that should resolve it. If not you're probably heading for a factory reset.

Google Play is an default applications on android operating system. Why are you sure that it is about google play? Check you’re settings, because google credit are actually very good ones. You can get with them anything you need for free. That’s why figure it out and check something else, because the problem can not be in default application and start getting apps for free. Maybe it will be useful.
