Samsung Galaxy S10

I believe the launch is today but, amusingly, some Norwegian TV channel accidentally aired an advert for it last night. Off the bat, I'm not interested due to the hole in the screen for the camera (notches and holes all need to get in the sea) but the rest of the specification looks quite impressive. Shudder to think of the price.

My dog recently destroyed my S8, and as my contract was due in May it was cheaper to buy it out rather than to repair the S8 (Cheapest price was £225 for new screen and LCD panel!!!)

I read the stuff for the S10 and thought, yeah OK that looks cool - but then had the price list released, thought, sod that, and got an S9 Plus for £33 a month with 30gb of data.

I like the hole punch better than a notch but what is wrong with a bezel at the top? It's a terrible looking fashion fad that does nothing for the function at all. I'm looking forward to the Note 10 but might give it a swerve unless the camera is much better than the Note 8's.

I'm going Note 10 too. In the meantime got a Mate 20X Pro to tide me over. Very impressive it is too.

I'm going Note 10 too. In the meantime got a Mate 20X Pro to tide me over. Very impressive it is too.

The camera on the Mate is meant to be insane although I'd love the wide angle on the S10 if the rumours are to be believed.

Likewise. Notches and holes just aren't a suitable solution to whatever problem they think is caused by having bezels.

I didn't even know it was due out.....

It will have to be pretty damn good to tempt me. I'm afraid I fall into the same camp as a lot of people these days - my current phone (S8+) is just so good, I need more than the fact that the new one is shinier, has a bit more memory, has a slightly brighter screen etc. etc. to tempt me.

ETA : Just looked it up - so the S10+ is noticeably bigger. That is the one key thing I might pay for.

Looks cool, but as someone that isn't into Selfies and doesn't need to see someone's face to speak to them, I can't help thinking doing away with the front camera completely might be a winner.

They kept saying it fits in your hand/pocket easily but it looks really thick/girthy when folded.

Will be interesting to see how durable it actually is.

Frankly my s7 edge has been utter garbage, back broken really easily and screen already failing less than a year old.

Love the Samsung S10+ and the S10 5G.. I'm on the O2 upgrade program, due in April.. Been trying to work out a way to upgrade early after seeing the launch tonight.

Not a fan of the Fold, great tech but can't see a use for it imo.

£2k for a bloody phone? I like the idea of the fold (whoever decided to go with that name needs sacking) but that price is insane.

I've ordered the S10+ with 1TB and 12GB Ram and in Ceramic white.

My phone is my mobile Office, so worth every penny to me.
