Half Life 2 isn't that hard on graphics cards, but the 5200 is quite old now. I've got one in a PC somewhere and Half Life 2 so I ould give it a wiz if you like?
What CPU have you got?
BTW it runs perfectly on my Athlon 64 3200+ with an ATI 9800XT * 1280*1024 in 32 bit colour.
Thanks Phil - Let me know how you get on ?
I just get a lot of "Stalling" Images !
my CPU is a 2.59 GHZ and 512 Ram pentium 620 e machines model .
Not suew why it is so slow - I dont have any packaged that drain resources !

There is a new driver for that card
www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_71.89.html
Also update directX to version 9 (see link on page)

Ya update your Directx (should have been done by the game, or on the game disk anyhow).
And update the driver (best prehaps from nvidia website unified driver).
Prob need a new card tho. Something like an Nvidia 6600GT is a decent fast card should be available for under £100.
Else look at an ATI 9800pro if you want cheaper.
