Magnetic screen mount

[Edt]

Hi I've just got a windscreen mount for my iPAQ & have a fear.. it works using a surprisingly powerful magnet having stuck a small metal plate to the device. Nice & convenient, but will this bugger the data on a microdrive. I assume a Comp Flash card is OK as solid state, as is the iPAQ capacity itself. (i think)
cheers
