Just a heads up,if anyone has or intends getting one of these,if you have any difficulty setting up the app to access the Drayton cloud server turn off your data on your phone before you start the install.
Why it's not in the instructions I don't know but leaving data on messes it up for many people.

The issue is that you need to connect to the hub directly via wifi so you can connect the hub to your wifi. As the hub doesn't have an internet connection your phone may decide you use mobile data for internet access making the hub inaccessible.

This is during setup,the hub connects to wifi but the next stage is to connect to the Drayton server and this is where a lot of people struggle,myself included.
Just putting this out there in case others are googling the issue

I had some issues with this I think, but after a while got it to work, after which it has been fit and forget.

Got it controlling heating and hotwater cyl, no trv's or home plugs, comfort mode and eco mode enabled. Works for me.

Shame I didn't see this thread earlier! I too was struggling to complete the setup using my phone, but as soon as I tried it on my old tablet, it worked straight away. Since then it has been faultless. I agree they need to mention this in the setup instructions.

They should also mention that you should not start the app without the internet being connected.

Best case is logging out and then back in, worst-case is dealing with support who will suggest setting up a new account needing a new email address or you persuading them to delete the account so you can re-use your email address.

Overall quite good in use but the signal repeater/power switch died with a bang switching a lamp off, not good. Glad that happened when I was home.
