It’s st, Netflix is better. Why every fking time I want to check out of Amazon and buy a watch battery am I inundated with “do you want to join Amazon fking prime?” Messages? No I fking do not want to join. fk off ! Mother fking ing bds just fk off!

Yet somehow I am now subscribed again yes they scammed me and I now need to go through their protracted cancellation process yet again, I really hate them. s. Absolute s. Just fk off !

Since you've posted this in General Gassing maybe it's the whole internet that you struggle with?

Yes, same happened to me but it looks easy enough to cancel online.

I like Amazon prime.

But I reckon you weren't scammed, you just didn't pay attention when you were clicking things

They make it very difficult not to. Amazon seems desperate to get everyone onto Prime. I’m on the free trial albeit accidentally and will cancel before incurring any fees.

Cancel immediately. You will still be able to use Prime (free) during the remainder of the free period.

Staggers me that someone can be so inept at using technology that they manage to be 'scammed' into subscribing to something.

Prime video is pretty crap tbh, but for the money the fast delivery is very good if you are in a hurry for something - broken phone cable in the morning ? new one with you early evening.
If i’m not in a hurry, i’ll wait for it to arrive from china and enjoy the saving.

You do need to watch out though as Ive noticed them not showing the cheapest price for an item even when they are both prime and available the next day - it’s almost like they list their ‘own’ listing on top of a a supplier’s for more money and perhaps just drop ship from the very same supplier !

I also feel the same about google and their incessant asking me to start a trial of YouTube premium or whatever it’s called at the start of every video.

Facebook/YouTube and their shifting from adverts at the start of a video (annoying but okay I understand) to some random point in the advert. Thankfully shifting the slider bar about seems to confuse the advert placement and a lot of times you can watch it advert free. If not it’s simple I will just turn the video off because it annoys the st out of me to get halfway through a video and then have to watch an advert. Just put it at the front with the skip advert after 5 seconds.

I can categorically say I have never bought anything due to these adverts purely due to the amount they piss me off even if I do have to endure watching them because I really want to see the content.
