IFTTT help

I've sent support an email or two about this ages ago with no response so perhaps someone here can help.

I bought a new phone and downloaded the app. When I log in to IFTTT the app gives me a different user name (adds numbers after my username). I can't see activity or any of my scenes.

I've tried changing the username to the original but just get the message username already in use. Still works fine on my old phone and when I log in via the laptop.

I'm stuck!
