I have a Win10 PC running Office 365. In Outlook, I have multiple email addresses - two or three personal addresses and one for each of the four other companies I work part time for.

I also have another email address for the company I work full-time for. Until yesterday, this was an Exchange Server address, but last night, they changed it to Office 365

Ten email accounts in total

Today, as my work emails weren't working, the IT support bod logged onto my PC remotely and set up a new Outlook profile and added the latest incarnation of the company email address

He was about to log off when I asked where all of my other email accounts were - I could tell by the pause that there was an "oh sh!t" moment going on at the other end. He then came back and opened my original profile and (thankfully) my other email accounts were there. However, he then deleted the works email address from the old profile, which crashed Outlook. When he re-launched it, Outlook gave the following message when trying to open the original profile:-

From what I've found with a bit of Googling, the problem is something to do with my iCloud profile. So - I uninstalled iCloud, and tried Outlook again - still the same message

Does anyone have any idea how I might be able to recover the knackered profile? I really don't want to have to install nine email accounts onto the new profile and sit around for several days while they synchronise 10+ years of emails with their various servers

Does it happen when you run outlook in safe mode?

It'll be a add-in or similar. Start in safe mode (hold CTRL when launching outlook) and it should load (as it disables addins), then find it in settings and disable/untick etc.

Does it ask you if you want to open safe mode first?

Yes - I got a message saying something like "you were holding down the CTRL key -do you want to start Outlook in Safe Mode?"
