Bloody inconvenient as I can’t get my emails this morning.

It’s difficult to complain too much about a service provided free of charge though.

It's not free for everyone - those with @btinternet.com email accounts who are no longer with BT but wish to maintain the service, for instance.

Weirdly email was still working on mobile (Outlook on Android) but was unable to login to the webmail on the Yahoo homepage.

The phone did go on about re-authenticating but was still giving me new emails when I eventually knock off the alert for re-entering the password

Anyone still on Yahoo email really need to migrate off. It gets hacked all the time - move to Gmail or Outlook.com. A much more professional "free" service.

That was the case a while ago but I haven’t heard anything bad about Yahoo’s security lately.

Email on my phone just started working, only 3 emails though so not convinced working 100%

Yes, it seems fine now. I’ve received emails sent this morning and seem to be able to reply.

Spent a while guiding my dad over the phone trying to get his mailbox to work, assumed it was him at fault as he's a pensioner and is in the process of setting up a new imac today.

They should have publicized it sooner imo.
