Sorry this is just a pointer as I don't use Excel for this, so you might need to translate a bit, but use INDEX to return the position of the first character of the string you want, then use that result in your formula to define the starting point - SUBSTRING for that bit?

I don't have time to go through your formula and translate it so it works with the above, but you could add the length of your search string or use it as an offset (or maybe there's a modifier for INDEX to take the last character) to find the last character of the string and return just the end bit.

You can then Concatenate that to your original formula that already works.

You could use right()

so something like

=RIGHT(P3,LEN(P3)-FIND(q3,P3))

where q3 references the cell you calculated with your previous formula.
