BT WIFI Calling
Discussion
Does anyone use a Motorola Moto G7 phone on their BT WIFI calling?
We are out in the sticks with no mobile signal. Currently using the Vodaphone internet linked home mobile signal thing. But it's pretty pants and drops out completely fairly regularly.
BT do our broadband and are offering a reasonable SIM only deal, so was thinking of swapping my mobile over to them. But before I do I want to know that my phone will work.
TIA

If you're switching to BT, choose the minimum amount of data you think you can get away with, once you're onboard check your offers under 'Manage Plan'. Often cheaper than advertised doing it that way, plus no new contract needed.
I'm on 50GB, 'Fastest 4G, BT Sport, Unlimited calls/SMS - £15pm (includes my BB discount). Plus as a BT Broadband Plus customer I get the £5 discount per month, plus I get another 50GB free of charge.

BT were the only game in town for fibre broadband when we moved in here last year. To be fair we haven't had any problems with the broadband.
I know what you mean about the land line, but where we are with no natural mobile signal then we have to have it as a backup.
£30 for BT broadband and landline is still way better than our old Virgin Media £90 for faster broadband than you could ever use and more TV channels than we could ever watch.

we were paying 65 for everything, broadband unlimited and phone with anytime calls. I asked for a new deal, they came down to 55 with another 18 month contract. Zen wanted 34 with just broadband, we have FTTP here. Cancelled with BT but b4 I could, yet another offer of 40 for everything. If they had said that from the start, I might have stayed. I could have screwed a better deal out of Virgin Media, but that would have tied me into an 18 month contract. As we were looking to move then we didn't want to be hit with penalty fees.
We get BT FTTP, the first ones in the village. Our new neighbours didn't know that it had been run into the village 4 weeks before. They were all on 1.7 mb.
