Sure,

if either one of you has some ISP webspace.

Or, one of you just buy some (click link in corner of this forum)

Or, if one of you has a little nouse, you can try and setup an FTP server on one of your PCs (but your ISP might take a dim view of this, it may end up being against your t&c)

What size file is it ?

You could try MSN or ICQ for example.

How big are the files?

Gmail maximum attachment size is 10mb, combined with a free file split utility like www.dekabyte.com/filesplitter/ (the first free one when googling for filesplitter) and Bob's in the family, especially if you both have a gmail account.

Cheers

FTP server is a good way to go as Jamie suggests but you may get probs, I've used BulletFtp before on trial which does the trick.

good luck

there is a program called "waste" which allows secure peer to peer transfer.
