For all Google One subscribers ... you should have received an email overnight offering a free google home mini with a code to use on the google store that wipes out the £49.99 cost.

If not, if you just go to the google store when logged in there should be a banner to get your discount code

I cant find T's & C's for it, can you see if you have to already be a Google One subscriber before a certain date? I've been juggling my free storage for months now and really should bite the bullet...

Here they are from the email. Cut off was the 11 Sept unfortunately. I have the 200gb for £2.50ish/mth - seems like a decent deal and we no longer upload images compressed

How do you become eligible for Google One? I pay for extra google drive/photos storage and also £12 a month for youtube and play music plus pre ordered a Stadia founders edition so spend quite a bit with them yet when I tried to sign up I get:

Google One is not available for your Google Account yet

I just auto qualified when I upgraded my google drive to a subscription from the free version.

Just go into your google drive account and press upgrade storage.

I have 2x Home Mini and 1x Home Hub. I have linked the home minis to play the same music at same time so like surround sound.

I pay for some Google drive storage and have done for several years. Does this mean that if I upgrade to Google One now I'll get a Home Mini or have I missed the cutoff?

You have passed the Google One subscriber cut off but there’s no harm in trying - it doesn’t cost any extra does it??

Thanks for the heads up folks. Sure enough went onto my Google Drive page, clicked upgrade storage, took through to the Google One page and sure enough there's my code for a free Home Mini. Ordered and will be on it's way in a week or two

Scouted back through my emails and found one sent last Friday - offer valid until 3rd October. Now ordered, thanks to this thread .
