unrequested password reset emails
Discussion
I recently received some 3 dozen password reset emails from Three in the space of 30 minutes. They are my mobile provider but I haven't forgotten my password so am puzzled as to why I received them. Each contains a link to reset the password and the URL looks valid (http://marketing.three.co.uk/re?l=BD4Iyqk2zeI9udxdraIk0jl3h25I0&u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.three.co.uk%2FMy3Account%2FValidate_email%3FEMAIL_TOKEN_ID%3D40280xxxxd2ddba2016d2xxxxxxxxxxxxx&s=JNIxxxxxxxMEAICEK).
Should I be worried? I'm struggling to understand how this can be something malicious; it seems more like someone has mistyped their phone number when trying to log in to their Three account. Or is there some other scenario?
