recently bought some meter long USB cables and they work fine, they charge my camera, phone, headphones and so on, all but one will charge my tablet but will charge everything else.

Anyone know why?

Voltage drop off?

Combination of cable length and charger type?

Are they all good quality or chinese specials?

Get one of these (cheaper versions are available):
https://www.amazon.co.uk/PortaPow-Monitor-SmartCha...

Its a brilliant piece of kit and has come in hand many times to work out what the issue is, be it charger, cable or item being charged.

The two tablets we have at home (a Hudl 2 and a Fire7) seem a bit choosy about which USB leads will charge them. Think the connectors are getting a bit worn. The 99p jobs don't seem to work whereas leads that have come with something such as a phone will work fine. Even then though if you wiggle them slightly it will start or stop charging.

Thanks! Not sure if they are Chinese or not, paid £6 for 3, two work fine one does not. Will get gadget as advice.
