Mac OS 10.15 denied a permission I should't have
Discussion
Just updated to 10.15, and used Garmin Express (GE) for the first time since doing so and rather stupidly didn't give it a permission. I got a pop up from the OS saying GE would like to access a removebale drive (my Garmin device) and I denied the permission rather tham approving it. Now none of my devices will sync or update.
How can I give this permission back to GE so I can update the devices? I've aleady uninstalled and reinstalled the app hoping to over write the error but sadly that didn't work so I think I may have something stuck in a hidden system file somewhere.
Has anyone got any suggestions?
Edit: the device is showing in finder and when I click on get ifo, it says I have custom permissions, and I can't seem to alter them, theres no padlock symbol to unlock it.
Cheers
Edit 2: Solved it, under Security and privacy, go to privacy and then files and folders, unlock the padlock and renable Garmin Express, lock it again, then restart Garmin Express.
