Tablet that can run Fortnite (Sorry)

I've been looking for a tablet for my son's birthday and I've seen a couple that I like that are ok for him (he's 8, but he's a very responsible 8 and his Kindle Fire 7 (2015 model) is about end of life). These are the two that I've shortlisted for the budget that I've set:

• Lenovo Smart Tab M10
• HUAWEI MediaPad T5

However, one of my son's criteria was that it be able to run Fortnite which while, I know is not age appropriate, he would only play that with someone sat with him. One of the memory requirements is 3Gb which rules out the Lenovo - But there isn't much clear written as to whether it's supported or will run.

Can anyone shed any light on this at all?

Those devices are in the £150 bracket - a 10" sized iPad is well outside of my budget. Plus I want it to be android so I can manage it with Google Family Link if needs be.

I played it for a bit on a Galaxy Tab A6
Its really hard to control though with on screen controls.
As for age appropriate, those are scare stories. You only hear voices if you join up with other people in a squad. Nothing in the game is bad.
