I've been using a DSLR camera to take photos of the more complicated clocks that I work on before taking them apart. Most of the time, I don't need to refer to the photos, but when I do, I have to take the card out and pop it into my iMac.

I've also got a Panasonic compact camera, with an "Eye-Fi" wifi SD card. This automatically transfers the photos to my iMac, as long as they are close to each other, and both switched on - in theory. In practice, it only works automatically about 50% of the time. I often have to close and re-open the supplied program, and switch the camera off and on again. I don't use this camera for my clocks, as the pics aren't really good enough.

A couple of days ago, a newer, higher resolution, Panasonic compact showed up on a local Facebook selling group at a very good price. It has built-in wifi, so I bought it.

The camera itself is very good, but transferring photos via wifi is a bit of a faff. The worst part is having to individually tag each photo that I want to transfer, and connect the iMac to the camera's own wifi hotspot. I can't get it to work via my home wifi network.

Are there any good wifi SD cards out there that "just work" without faffing around to start the transfer?
