looking for some advice on which is a decent brand of cable and connector to use?

looking most likely at 305m drum of cable and a hundred or so connectors so just a small purchase but would rather go with a known decent brand

same with a decent crimp tool any suggestions welcome

I've used Comms Express & found them OK. You can either use their own brand or if you like spending money Excel is a very widely used brand.

I'm not sure why you're going for Cat6 but that's a different topic.

No real input on the brand but make sure it's proper solid core copper not CCA (copper coated aluminium).

future proofing more than anything

i'd imagine with none of the runs being too long it wouldnt need a recable to switch out to 10gb down the line

It's just that Cat6 is bit nothing really. Either stay with Cat5e or go up to Cat6a. Anyway, Comms Express has the cable connectors & crimp tools you need.

You can run HDMI extenders over cat 5e it doesn’t have to be cat 6a

If that’s your intention then look for HDbaseT certified

I ordered generic cat6 cable (305m x2) and it came in boxes branded as BT. https://www.cablemonkey.co.uk/cat6-cable/13839-exc... I bought two as it's easier to pull multiples along the same run.
