Hi,

I have an old Sony phone from around 2014/15 that has had the screen cracked years ago. The phone still starts up and you get a glow from the screen, but you cannot see anything, just the white light. I can't therefore access the phones memory to get my photos and videos off (specifically of my Tommi Makinen Evo). I have tried connecting the phone to my laptop, but as the phone required a password to get on you can't access.

Is there a way to have the screen mirrored onto another device so that I can type the code in their and get the media form the phone that way?

Usually you would have to initiate the connection from the phone itself for security purposes. It may be easier to get a 2nd hand one from eBay and transfer the screen. What phone is it? It may have a video out via the usb, my Samsung has HDMI via USB-C but you'd still need to be able to use the screen unless you've already paired a bluetooth mouse to the phone.

Not sure it would work and probably find it cheaper but something like this

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Micro-USB-HDMI-Type-High-...

You could then connect to a tv through the hdmi and with the usb go in to a hub to support keyboard and mouse.

Many wont go into MTTP mode without having unlocked the phone, especially after the first boot.

Best thing to do OP would be to get the screen replaced as cheaply as possible.
