refurbished 17" MBP supplier recommendation?

Hi, I've a 17" Macbook Pro from 2010 which has served me well over the years but want to get hold of another one for spares or a direct replacement should it fail completely. With the bewildering array of sellers on eBay/Google I wondered if anyone here had first hand experience of buying refurbished Mac laptops (preferably the older 17") online?

Just buy from them directly? I doubt the price difference between Apple and Joe Blogg refurbs are going to be that much.

Thx but the problem is the age, they stopped making the 17" many years ago so I suspect won't appear on the Apple refurb page.

I used Hoxton Macs (hoxtonmacs.co.uk) about 18 months back to buy a couple of i7 MBP's for business use.
I was after a very specific build/spec for both, and wanted to get both at the same time and before my business year-end. They came up trumps and the machines were in very good condition.

They have a constant churn of stock so might be worth contacting them to indicate your preference if they dont have any immediately available on their website.

I don't work for them, and have no business/personal tie or relationship with them - just a very happy customer.
