Kid's Computer Wanted

[Pistonfest]

My 5 year old son is now learning computing at school.
I want to buy him a cheapish machine for his play room, so I can hook it up to my wireless network, and he can learn a little more when he wants to, play a few games, do some basic homework etc.
Does anybody have any suggestions about what would suit him, or suitable equipment they want to part company with?

I'm selling an ideal base unit in the classifieds - just neeeds a monitor keybrd and mouse added and you're away!

I have a full PC with 17" Monitor keyboard and mouse collecting dust in my garage, It will need a disk format and an operating system, but apart from that it should work ok.

Oh did i say its, FREE (I need it shifting, don't want to just chuck it.)

A friend of mine wanted something similar for his kids.
I managed to pick up an early Pentium, 3 years ago for 99p on ebay for him...

Do you want a full size PC or a laptop?

I have an old laptop lying around which I never use, its in decent condition. A bit slow for me, PM me if you want any more info.

Pistonfest, just sent you an email with the laptop spec, hope you get it!
