Thinking of treating myself
Discussion
to a Laptop for my Birthday :) but not sure which will be best for me.
I will need it to have wire free internet connection.
I will be using programs like dreamweaver and photoshop on it and storing some photos. so it will need to be large enough to handly these type of programs.
Quite like the look of some of the Vaio ones and thinkpads. Looking to be around £1k or less.
What do you huys use and recommend.
TIA
Simon

I use a Vaio PCG-K315M and I must say it is a cracking machine.
Handles photoshop brilliantly and the XBRITE screen has to be seen to be believed. It's quite superb.
Comes with a whole host of Sony software and is a reliable, good looking and easy to use laptop.
I have a blue tooth boggle adapter with mine for wireless networking but I think the slightly more expensive K47 has built in wireless LAN.

That apple looks good rico will take that in mind thanks
In all seriousness, I used Windows for years, I'm on a Windows PC at the moment but my Powerbook is just fantastic. Still runs blisteringly quick after 2 years of daily use, never crashes, runs Photoshop, Dreamweaver etc and is just a joy to use. I got p*ssed off with Windows crashing and not working. I assume they're better now but I wouldn't go back
Personal preference and all. Pop into an Apple store if you can and have a play.
