2019 Budget Go Pro Alternative
Discussion
I've searched and found some older threads on Go Pro alternatives, but nothing up to date.
So, I'd like an action camera mainly for when I'm doing motorsport events. I plan to attach it to the roll bar in my Mx-5.
I'd also probably use it for skiing too.
Has anyone had much joy with budget action cameras or is it worth spending the extra money on a Go Pro?

There doesn't appear to be any authorised UK distributors. Where did you get yours from?Brilliant camera

Yi Camera is pretty good and a lot cheaper than the GoPro. I used one for taking videos of snorkeling and it was fine.
Similar question. Their action cameras don't appear to be in their online store.Osmoliver said:
That sounds like a good deal. Where did you get it from?
It was a couple of years a go now, I ordered it from Banggood.com, probably around black friday when they had a deal on.I've ordered loads of stuff from them and never had any problems.
IMO I wouldn't look for a specific camera necessarily but find out which ones are the best at the moment and then look which one has the best deals available.
