Not sure if this is the best place so please move if not

Anyway.... I am part of an owners club that has a main page on Facebook and then over the years has added additional pages for each of the models of car. I have now been asked to take over this functionality and I think its messy and not really efficient. I have a couple of questions that I cant find the answers to on Facebook help

Is it possible to have a core page for the whole club and then have a set of pages for models as child sub pages of that group? I would like all members to join the main page before they can access the sub groups. Is that possible? The reason for this is that when we have to ban someone its a pain to identify what other pages of ours they are on. Also, its not so easy for a new member to identify what other pages of ours they can join

I know you can give people badges by making them admin and mods etc. but I would like to give certain members of the page a membership star or something to indicate that they are a member of the real club and not just the Facebook page. I would also like to give some advertisers that we allow because they advertise in our magazine an approved advertiser badge or something similar

Is it also possible to collect the email addresses of people that sign up to the page so that we can use that data (with permission of course) to contact them off Facebook?

Thanks!

Sounds like you want a website with a forum rather than Facebook groups.

Well yes in some ways but traffic to those kind of things is dead and Facebook is the best way along with instagram etc to attract new members. We have converted many Facebook users to fully paid up club members over the past few year using what we have on Facebook and you just don’t get the same footfall on forums anymore. This place only survives because it has been around for so long.

I know but you asked about specific features that I don't think Facebook has.

Be interesting to see this myself. I hate it all and find FB a frigging pain in the backside but needs must.

Why dont you use TapaTalk to have a website within an app type environment if your users insist on using an app on a phone.

The_Jackal you are missing the point. We have that kind of thing already for fully paid up members of the club behind the login wall on the website. This is about our Facebook presence which we have had for many years and allows us to reach people that wouldn’t find our website or join the club. I just want to tidy it up and be able to identify who is a club member and who isn’t. We have had a really good conversion rate over the years from Facebook member to real member and it’s really helped bring in the younger crowd. I just want to improve the experience further so we can up our conversion rate
