Bit of a potentially stupid question (and possibly in the wrong place) - If I bought my kids an Xbox One S at their house (the digital model) and they have games on their profiles, would these games be available to them to play and access if I bought an Xbox One to have at my house?

My understanding is that they would...

Also - how much storage would an Xbox One game take up?

Thanks

Sounds like it, just don’t change the ‘home’ Xbox setting too much. Games around 50-100Gb I think but some can be bigger. Then you’ve got DLC, updates etc.

Should be ok if you log on with the same account that owns the software.
Obviously both ends will have to download all the games. Hope your internet is fast.

I've just ordered one from Argos @ £129 smile

Ah nuts...

ETA. Just checked and it's out of stock pretty much everywhere. I've ordered from Argos, but you have to pay to save it - I suspect this will sell out quickly...

If you just turn up to Smyths there is the opportunity to get an extra £10 with their black friday voucher from their website but it doesnt work with click and collect! crazy prices!

Just picked up a one S with dvd drive and two controllers for 159 in tesco. No games but we will get the online subscription I think. Clueless about this stuff but with 300mb download and a credit card I think my 10yr old will figure it out.

Also, try to connect and set them up before Christmas.
You dont want kids asking you all Xmas day "has it finished downloading yet?"
You genuinely could be waiting all day for them to update and the games to download, especially when the whole world is trying to do the same thing on the same day.

This. Always this.
Set them up and download whatever games came in the box the week before.
